Women’s clothes don’t usually have big pockets so just curious how spacious men’s pockets are?
Men, how many things can you fit in your pocket?

I can put a normal size water bottle in my pocket, sit down, and not hear it crunch
Normally in my pockets I will have: phone, wallet, keys, water bottle, mid size family computer, 55 inch tv, small assortment of tools, and that’s about it.
I can comfortably empty a can of beans in each
Depends on the pants. Well fitted pants could comfortably hold a phone and keys without looking weird.
A lot. But tbh they get bulky fast and don’t look so good if you carry too much stuff. I try to keep my keys, wallet, etc light.
lol, it’s a constant source of irritation for my wife and daughters. Like, Foot long sub front pocket, 1 liter bottle back pocket. Hands free. Women’s pockets, when they even have them, are a cruel joke.
All of them.
How much you got?
My every day pocket carry is my keys, (including the large fob for my truck), a USB thumbdrive, a pocket knife, earbuds, and a pen in one front pocket, my phone in my other front pocket, and my wallet in the back. For a few months recently, I was carrying 2 sets of earbuds, which wasn’t a space problem, but I recently went back to only carrying one set.
Depends on the pocket and the things.
Phone, wallet, keys, AirPods, pen, with room and an entire back pocket to spare
Phone, keys, sunglasses, drivers license and credit card. Anything more than that isn’t necessary for me.
Grains of rice? A lot.
Satsumas? A few.
I carry my wallet + keys in my left pocket and my phone + earbuds in my right.
I could probably stick a couple things in my back pockets but that gets uncomfortable to me.
Phone, Wallet and keys
I have a small water bottle that I put in the back pocket of my work trousers when we go off-site
At least 7
7-20 depending on the clothes
More things than some people fit in a handbag.
every day phone wallet keys phone charger headphones and enough room for a pair of fruits for lunch usually oranges or apples.
At this point, I’m convinced men’s pockets are a cheat code. I once fit a phone, wallet, keys, charger, and a sandwich. No bag needed.
I can fit at least 27 tots in one cargo pocket. Get your own!
On a side note, which is your “empty pocket”
I used to carry a lot. But now that I’ve lost weight I don’t because my pants keep falling down unless I tighten my belt to an uncomfortable level.
It depends on how large or small the things are. 2 of the 8 pockets on my work clothes are large enough that I can put a sheet of Letter/A4 in them unfolded.
All of them
My phone, phone charger, wallet, car keys and my small wireless earphone charger case
I wear skinny jeans. So like…. My dick doesn’t even fit in there.
Women’s pockets are deliberately smaller to force them to buy handbags!
It’s one of the great recognized things in fashion.
I have a small ziplock bag I put my drivers license and bank notes, and a Carmex lip balm. All I need..
I have my phone and wallet in my left pants pocket and house keys/hand sanitizer in my right pocket. I would store car keys in the left pocket so they don’t get mixed up with my house keys. Since the pandemic, I have started carrying a small bottle of hand sanitizer.
Just my pocket sand and keys
Pockets, pockets, I have no pockets
That depends,
Jeans: wallet, phone, pocket knife, keys, assortment of nuts/bolts, 2lb sledge hammer, screw driver etc.
Cargo shorts: everything but the kitchen sink. (Even then if it’s cut up enough)
Winter work jacket: Appx 4- 2L pop bottles.
I’ve fit a full water bottle in my workout sweat pants before
countless quarks and atoms
Otherwise, likely wallet, keys, Burt’s Bees and an eyeglasses cloth
Loads. Simple 5-pocket pants alone can manage the heavy lifting (wallet, keys, phone, AirPods, pocket knife, etc.). Sports or chore coats have high capacity as well, but often used for slimmer items.
Man, if you asked me when I was 15 the answer would be so much more impressive.
I usually do AirPods, wallet, and maybe keys (usually don’t have keys with me tho) in left pocket, and phone in right
Plenty. I have a system in place for myself: right-hand pocket is exclusively for phone, left-hand pocket is for wallet, keys, and a pocket knife that clips onto the rim of my pocket. I rarely use my back pockets.
Standard Lucky Jeans: front right: key fob, wireless headphones, usb-c cable for XReals, small wireless mouse. Small right front pocket inset: CRKT Lil Guppie Multitool. Front left: Galaxy Z-Fold 4 smartphone. Back right: Wallet. Back Left: Folding wireless keyboard. XReals dangling from a pocket or shirt collar, or being worn.
Usually phone and wallet or keys in my pants. They’re not baggy enough for anything more or larger than that. Jacket depends, my M65 can fit enough supplies for a week, but sport coats or denim jackets only have pretty small and useless pockets good for like some cash or an id card.
Keys, wallet, cell phone, AirPods and tater tots.
I have no problem carrying my cellphone, wallet, a key ring in them every day, and I have space to bring some other stuff as well, medicine, napkins, chewing gum, condoms, or whatever I anticipate I will need that day.
The best one is managing to fit a book and kindle in the pocket.
Or more hilariously, can of cider and can of pringles in the other
Lots of things.
Fit? Or can actually carry without it driving me crazy? Lol two very different things.
Work pants like Duluth or Carhartt seem to have the largest main pockets.
My Duluth front pockets measure 8” deep at the top tapered to 5” at the bottom, by 7” wide and about 3” open width from the thigh.
I can fit a billion atoms in my pocket.
I think in your youth you walk around with all pockets utilized like some donkey on a long haul trip. Nowadays, I try to phone, wallet, keys and if I don’t need them, I put them in the center console of the vehicle. Nothing like a stroll on a sunny day with nothing in your pockets.
About 1/2 of the tools in my pack can fit in there before my pockets start being overstuffed. So, a lot lol
Serious answer. i have two answers, Depending on my jeans
A wallet, 6 keys, AirPods, and iPhone SE 3rd gen in the same pocket.
Three iPhone 14 Pro Maxes, wallet, 6 keys, AirPods, and more in the same pocket.
I can stick a 7”tablet or a 24 oz water bottle in my work pants pocket, iPhone 14 Pro Max , keys, knife, AirPods in the other one, a thick wallet in the back right, and back left goes unused.
Cargo shorts (yes I am allowed to wear them because im a 37 year dad) when my daughter was a baby, I could carry bottle, baggie of foruma and diapers plus wipes. Wallet, keys, foxi her stuffed animal and phone
Depends on the size of the stuff, but I could fit my wallet, phone, keys, a pack of cigarettes and a lighter one one pocket and it wouldn’t be uncomfortable.
Enough that when the kids were younger and we’d go on field trips I stopped being “Dad” and started being called “The Sherpa”.
All of them. It’s like one of those tents from Harry Potter.
Two, never more than two
I can pack for a 3-day weekend in a good pair of cargo shorts. Jeans I’m typically limited to lunch, cell phone, and a few tools for whatever project I might work on today.
More than 2, less than 1,000
I carry a tactical satchel pack out bag now. AKA a fanny pack for my phone, keys, and sunglasses. Wallet is still kept in my back right pocket
Just the key to her, umm… heart.
You need to define the size of a “thing”. i can fit quite a few small things in my pocket, but i can only fit one large thing. And only if the thing is pocket sized.
And which pocket? Side or back?
By “things” are we talking wallet size or like
Nintendo switch, wallet, and phone in one and water bottle in the other
Then it becomes a question of does “can fit” just mean capacity, or do you need to take into account the need to hold them up either via a belt or a good ol’ hoist once in a while
Phone, keys, and hand sanitizer.
A set of 15 keys, pocket knife, lighter, and car fob in one pocket. Phone in one. Wallet in one. And a spare bake pocket for skoal if I decide to start
Enough
I can fit my wallet, phone and keys. Keeping these most essential things in your (front) pockets make them difficult for anyone to steal, and there is less risk to drop or misplace them. This is something that must be a lot harder for women who have to carry these essential things in a handbag, which has a lot higher risk of getting stolen or misplaced.
Phone and keys is basically all I have in my pockets, a cross body bag or equivalent for day trips – phone charger, sunglasses etc.

Don’t know if links are allowed, but trust me.
Wallet, folding knife, phone, keys, air pods.
All of it.
Honestly, I try to limit what’s in my pocket. Only what is necessary. Phone. Wallet. Key (singular-car). Nothing else. Keep it light. Keep it from jabbing my legs. No need to haul around bulk for no reason. Sometimes, a water bottle in back pocket if it’s hot for hydration purposes.
I once packed all the socks, underpants, toothbrush, toothpaste and other small things for a 5 day trip To Denmark un my cargo pant pockets
Everything
Probably a few thousand ants.
all of them
I wear jeans most days
Left pocket: Money clip Wallet and pocket knife clipped inside pocket
Right Pocket: Airpods, chapstick and either my car keys or my phone.
When I go to work, I typically clip my keys to my backpack straps so the right pocket is free for my phone
When I go to sporting events, I wear cargo shorts so I can sneak in snacks and airplane bottles of booze
I’m pretty sure if o worked out the plumbing and piping I could technically fit in my kitchen sink.
i dont own them but i have seen cargo shorts that can fit a entire lap top in there
My weekend/date night jeans? I carry my phone, wallet, keys, knife, earbuds, and sometimes a phone charger and some coins. If going to a bar or restaurant I’ll get rid of the knife.
My lounge around the house pants/workout shorts? Only my phone and earbuds but that’s risky because if I squat or sit the entire contents of my pockets get dumped.
In my work pants I carry a hammer, screwdriver, notebook, pen, water bottle, tape measure, multi tool, phone, hearing protection, and my wallet. If I’m working one of my other jobs I’ll swap to my other notebooks and I’ll swap the tools for a clip on guitar tuner and a spare set of strings and a string winder or I’ll grab a meat thermometer and a handful of sharpies and a roll of painter’s tape.
If I’m hiking or going to an extended outdoor event I’ll grab cargo shorts or pants so I can carry all my gear that gets used too much to fit in my backpack.
Enough
I use a small shoulder bag. Nothing in my pockets.
key and wallet in one pocket, phone and earpod in the other
