He wants a gold band for occasions and a silicone band for work. I found a website called ridge on instagram but I’m kind of skeptical. I need some ideas and suggestions!
Where do you/your wife purchase your wedding bands from?

I went to a local jeweler. The same one that made my wife’s engagement ring. I wouldn’t trust any instagram ad website with nice jewelry.
Silicone on Amazon. Check out Thunder Fit. Cheap enough you can buy a multipack.
Gold check out Costco and Blue Nile. Quality at a great price.
Do yourself a favor and don’t break the bank on rings.
Local pawn shop
JC Penney. I now wear a silicone one that I got from Amazon.
Costco, found a platinum band 20% less than nearby jewelers.
She buys hers from amazon. I make my silicone band.
We bought them at Harry Ritchie’s. I stopped wearing mine because it was very uncomfortable and switched to silicone for a long time. I bought a new one while we were in Hawaii recently and love it
I made 3D designs and took them to a small local jewelry store that looked reputable. “Make me two of these!”
Went to a local jeweller who also made my wife’s engagement ring. Second generation family business in business for over 55 years.
Our rings are sentimental to us. In the event something happens to them, we know we can go back there and they will help us out. Plus we get free cleanings and adjustments whenever we need them.
There are so many online shops and I feel like they disappear as fast as they pop up. Didn’t want to buy from one of them in case something happened and we needed service or a replacement because there’s no guarantee they’d still be around.
We went to a specialized shop that makes us design our respective rings.
I am also in the camp of having an alternative for physical activities.
Wife found a rather inexpensive ring at Kohl’s(US) while I bought my stamped gold band from a retailer on eBay
We went to a local jeweler for her rings and negotiated a plain gold wedding band for each of as as well. There are situations wherein she feels better in a plain wedding ring.
I know of an old Jewish jewler who does custom work out of his garage. So, that guy. Absolutely stunning stuff, pick your own stones, and it’s less expensive than the chain store crap.
My husband custom ordered our rings from a trusted local Jeweler we’ve been going to for years (and so have our families.) he got me a 3 ct ring for a steal of a price. I highly recommend looking for local jewelers in your area.
Pawn shop for the first one. I replaced it with a new one several anniversaries down the line with one from eBay. Both were second hand!
Midwinter Co., online store based in Delaware. The silicon band I previously had (while waiting for my rose gold one to be resized) was from Amazon.
You reconsider getting married if its not too late (speaking from painful personal experience)
