there was this guy i saw twice a week, for about 5 months, working at a government place and we’ve made intense 5 second eye contact and smiled at each other countless times and there was DEFINITELY a vibe there. we only had reason to speak twice ( we were both pretty shy ) and those times i didn’t get his name so i couldn’t look him up on social media.
he got to know my name after like a month, and i’ve been hoping he’d send me a follow request on my instagram if he did look me up and find my account, but it hasn’t happened yet and i don’t think he works there anymore because i haven’t seen him for a month and for some reason i can’t seem to forget him, especially since i still go there twice a week.
he knows im 17 because he saw my identity card when i was registering and he’s definitely in his early 20’s so im not sure if that’s a dealbreaker or he just hasn’t bothered to look me up on instagram. i know im weird for this but it’s just that he’s 100% my type and it’s really rare for me to like a guy this much at all and i also feel like he’s attracted to me too.
i don’t think ill ever see him again but i just really want to know what the chances are that he looked me up on social media and maybe hesitated sending a follow request because he doesn’t want to seem like a creep or something? i would 100% follow him if i just knew his name ughhhhhh.

If he’s in his early 20s and you’re 17 that might be why, especially if he learned about your age after you gave him your socials.
Honestly I’m proud of the dude for not pursuing you. (Assuming you’re in the states) no matter how close your birthday is, you’re underage and he’s in his 20s, and that can be jail time on top of being creepy af.
