TIFU by not moving my boyfriend’s clothes

This happened earlier today and my boyfriend and I are still shaking our heads laughing about it. I’m staying with my boyfriend’s family for a weekend at their rental on the beach, and since we haven’t been dating for too long and his parents are somewhat traditional, we were in separate rooms. I didn’t mind, I was a guest at their place and besides I basically had my own bathroom! (A door went from my room to the bathroom next to it, this is important)

At one point, when my boyfriends parents and siblings were outside at the beach, my boyfriend had come into my room so the two of us could change into our bathing suits. Since we were alone, things got pretty spicy, he shed his clothes, and let’s just say I ended up down on my knees at some point.

We had turned on the faucet of the bathroom connected to my room to mask some noise, but even through the faucet the both of us immediately heard people enter the house and walking around outside of the bathroom.

We froze.

We realized that his family would definitely notice that the two of us were missing and my door and the bathroom door were closed, so we tried to stifle our giggles as I threw him his bathing suit and he closed the door between my room and the bathroom.
After about a minute, I went into the bathroom because we had to “finish up” (lol sorry), but once we were all set, he walked out of the bathroom and I walked out of my bedroom like nothing had happened!

It had been his brother and his sister that walked into the house, they obviously didn’t suspect anything but my boyfriend and I couldn’t stop laughing.

About an hour later after we had been swimming in the beach, we were getting ready to head inside and his parents were passing us our beach towels so we could dry off. His mom asked where mine was and I said it was in my room, so she grabbed it for me and I didn’t think anything of it.

It wasn’t until I was going to my room to get ready for dinner that I noticed my boyfriends shirt, shorts, and underwear were still splayed over my floor, right next to where I had hung my beach towel. I immediately texted my boyfriend that we had forgotten about his clothes, and the two of us were just like “oop”.

His mom didn’t say anything and we knew she wouldn’t, but just knowing that she had definitely seen her sons clothes messily thrown all over his girlfriends room was enough for me to be beet red the next time I saw her. For the future my boyfriend and I know now that we have to keep track of our clothes😅

Tl;DR: didn’t hide my boyfriends clothes after spicy time and his mom saw them in my room
