How do I get over the constantly feeling of unworthiness?

r/

Lately it doesn’t matter if its work, my relationship or how I feel about myself. I can’t get over the feeling that I’m not worthy. Not worthy of that promotion not worthy of love or to be treated a certain way. is this something that comes and goes or do I just need to figure out ways to combat it. And if this is something you did deal with what are some of the ways you worked through it? Appreciate everyone’s time.

Cheers

When I was young and now that I’m older the answer is the same. Drink water and lift weights.

I felt the same way and realized it was because of the way I was raised (not much love/attention from parents, etc.) Therapy has helped a lot as has one particular book that I read. I can send the amazon link, if interested. Good luck!

You need to talk to a doctor and counselor. Appropriate therapy is key to getting over the abuse that’s has made your mind think this way

You don’t. You just get used to it. One day your realize that you never worry about paying your bills and also being able to go to dinner with your wife. Despite all this you still constantly worry about if you’re doing it right and if you’re good enough. Being a man sucks, and especially sucks if you’re worried about feeling unworthy or like your failing.
