Went to Prison for 4 1/2 years out a 6byear term and then after my sentence went to Atascadero State Hospital for a year +. Ask Me Anything.

So I ended up going to Prison. 6 year term at 66% and got out 4 1/2 years after I got arrested. I went to Atascadero State Hospital for a year also for special conditions of my Parole cause I met most of the Criteria.

I worked on myself A LOT when I was in both places. I was surprised that I’d catch time for something I thought at the time felt justified for doing. I beat up a racist in Huntington Beach California for him calling me a bunch of racist slurs. I actually put him in a coma by ONLY kicking him 4 times. The police were under investigation when I was in County fighting my case cause they altered the police report. I got 4 1/2 (low term) years for the Attempted Murder and 1 1/2 for the Great Bodily Injury (mid term). I’m glad I did go to Prison cause there were a lot of wake up calls and life lessons I felt like I mastered when I was in the Iron Temple. Realizing only family is there for you and my ex best friend never had any intention of reaching out. He didn’t reach out once and it broke my heart even though I ended up talking to one of his family members who gave me excuses on why he didn’t want to talk. I learned to fend for myself and really learned to say no and stand up for myself. I no longer have a drug habits anymore, I feel a reason to wake up everyday and apply myself and no longer feel so much depression. A HUGE wake up call to what life had to bring. I got into a religion hat fits my morals even though I was raised Buddhist.

Atascadero taught me coping skills, drug treatment and mood management which I got certificates. Also I got a certificate for a Bible Study program even though I’m not a Christian but studied out of all 66 books of the Bible and learned a number of verses.

Consistency is key to success and that was a stepping stone after my first time ever getting into trouble with the law. A lot has changed for the better and lately I’ve been alone and enjoying solitude with my peace in my own environment.
