Yeah, last weekend, me and my buddy both had the weekend off, so he came over Friday night, and he crashed at my place until Monday morning. It was great, we got hammered and played Mario Kart 64 and watched Walk Hard and shit. Made wings, grilled cheese, bagel bites.
Depends on what you’re doing. I usually only hang with my friends for over 10 hours when we’re doing acid. But I don’t think its a bad idea as long as it isn’t taking you away from important aspects of your life like school or work.
Don’t really hang out with anyone unless it’s during an activity. When I meet up with the boys to ride bikes we might spend anywhere from 4 – 6 hours riding.
Entering the second half of my 30’s, whitewater paddling has become my bread and butter that gives me life. I am also single, so basically, at minimum one day out of every weekend (generally) is dedicated to hanging with the homies fighting for our lives in some whitewater. It could last all day, sometimes a few hours, depending on the run and how fast things are flowing. Being around my friends for 10 hours when you are doing a shared activity you love isn’t very difficult to do.
Also, when friends come to visit occasionally from out of state, it’s usually an entire weekend of drinking, getting the paddling friends to bust out the raft to include a newbie, my friend (or anyone’s outside friend for that matter), to some whitewater.
Getting into whitewater was probably the single greatest thing I could’ve done to remain social while having a fuck ton of fun. It’s dangerous to do alone, and you need multiple vehicles to shuttle boats, so everyone is super open to making friends. A popular class 3 river near me with dam releases on the weekends feels more like a party on the river.
Get into paddling, hang all day, that’s the moral of the story. I think dudes hang better when it’s in the pursuit of doing something like a sport together.

Tonight is guys night, probably about 4 hours, every saturday I play golf, about 3 hours there, and occasionally we hang other times.
If we’re gaming, watching sports, grilling, or on a trip? Easily 10+ hours. Time disappears when the vibe is right.

I have an hour or two a week in person with a friend. We go for coffee and talk about whatever we are going through.
I have a couple of other friends – far away – that I chat with on the phone for an hour or so each week.
I am 54 though and everyone is far away, has a family. But I like what i have. We are close without living on top of each other.
If we needed each other more, we would be there in a flash.
Not as often as I’d like

I used to, but my best friend moved and I had kids. Now we don’t see each other often, but when we do, we make it worth it.

My buddy comes over on Saturdays and we hang out for 8-9 hours.
We play video games, watch movies, I cook dinner for everyone. Good times are had by all.
Why would I spend time with them? They know how I feel
Me and my friend usually hang out about once a month, twice if things are happening. But when we chill, yeah, usually 10-12 hours.
Basically, link up after work, get drunk, have a fire, drink til nothings left, go home at 5 am and pass out lol
Several hours or so. Everyone has a family or obligations of some sort. I’m sure if we could it’d be a hell of a lot longer.
No
I prefer it short and sweet
