Why are menstrual cramps so incapacitating?

How can this tiny little thing cause so much damage? Well ig insects are tiny yet their bite is painful. This thing inside me is a frikin parasite, taking my life away. I’m on birth control, have been not long after I got my first period because when it started, it didn’t stop. It went on for years. It still happens but now it decided to have some mercy and give me random 1 week breaks before starting again indefinitely. Clearly no birth control is working

Been on a multitude of different pills, IUD, and injections. There is clearly something wrong with me. Also been thru 3 doctors now. No one is giving me what I want: I want to get scooped. I’m trans anyway. Seems like the only way to is to lock-in and act like a karen, meaning being forceful and mean, but I just can’t do that as I don’t want to be ‘that’ patient. The other problem is money. Racked up about several K but know that isn’t enough. Because I don’t have insurance. I’m technically still under my parents’ but ofc they won’t allow it. Can’t narrow down a price as research gives me wide ranges. From the biggest number I wS given, it said over $20k. I seem to be about half-way there. But circling back to a doctor. I’m sick of playing scavenger hunt for someone who can listen. Knowing I will probably get advice to look in other subs, I’ve looked in r/childfree , r/ftmhysto and one other sub similar that I don’t remember the name of and I was unable to find help that I needed. Same spiel, keep looking, which I said I’m sick of because of that reason and making all these useless appointments stripping the money away. Useless because they’ll just shove another useless birth control in my face instead of actually investigating

Clearly I’ve digressed. These cramps are endo-quality cramps. Among other similar symptoms yet I’ve been told I’m ‘fine’ and ‘healthy’ and ‘nothing wrong, idk why you’re having problems then.’ You’re the fucking doctor. You’re supposed to know, if not figure it out but you refuse to actually look inside me. Also on one of those subs, someone said they were in a similar boat, and they actually had something (don’t remember if it was endo or some cancer) but they didn’t find it until OP finally got surgery because they pushed. I just don’t know how to ‘push’ for surgery, per their advice, in a firm way. I don’t know what they meant. Ugh, I can’t do anything

You need a laparoscopy. Pure and simple. I’m sorry that you are being treated as I was. Can’t we get past this nonsense??? They can’t say what’s going on until they get eyes on the scene.

It’s a same day procedure. They do them all the time. Change Drs until you find one who will do it for you. Even if they are rolling their eyes at you. That’s how I finally got my Dr to do it.

Maybe tell them you heard your mom mention fibroids.
I’m trying to think what else you can say. I told them I was starting to black out from the pain and that didn’t do it. Years later, they got very curious about a possible fibroid and desperately wanted to do a scope to see.

I also suggest you download one of the period tracking apps. That way you can show your Dr more evidence. My body all but ignored the pill. So some of us aren’t going to respond to needs the way Drs think they should. Drs can suck with their “in the box” thinking.
Find another Gyno until one will get you in for a laparoscopy.
    Good luck
