Back in the 80s or 90s before Cowboy Builders came on the scene, there was a gardening show where they renovated delapidated gardens. There was even a bit of a scandal where the head gardener was a woman and the cameraman would seem to zoom in on her chest. Can anyone tell me the name of the show please?
What was the gardening TV show that came before Cowboy Builders?

Ground Force.
The woman is Charlie Dimmock.
Ground force
It was Ground Force
The woman you’re thinking of is Charlie Dimmock, and the other presenters were Tommy Walsh (the builder/hard landscaper) and Alan Titchmarsh
Ground Force?
Indian Gardeners?
Ground Force. Charlie Dimmock stayed in the same hotel as where Mrs Sorb and I were having our wedding reception.
My Mum was a big fan, had a long chat with her the day before the wedding. I think we still have a ‘congratulations’ card from her somewhere that she’d left at the hotel reception desk for us.
I remember when the ground force team came to my street as a kid. Ooh how excited everyone was!
My step dad was always there watching, you’ve already touched up the reasons why.
Set this as my dad’s ringtone when he started a landscaping business hahahah
OP- also check out Aufwedershen Pet
it was a UK building show, but focused on building abroad!
It wasn’t really a scandal she just became a bit of a poster girl
She actually now hosts a very similar garden rescue program
She had a bad time after the show when she lost her mum
As other have said it was “Ground Force”, Ms. Dimmock seemed to eschew wearing a brassiere which ensured the popularity of the programme with the male population. Most recently she has presented “Garden Rescue” a programme in a similar format, though she has matured herself.
It wasn’t so much about the camera zooming, as that she usually wore vest tops and no bra. People had opinions.
“Only two hours to go and they still haven’t got the patio down!”
Ground force. My family were fortunate enough to have our garden revamped on the show when I was really young. I hardly remember it except that I was stung by a wasp during filming and Charlie was really nice to me when I got upset.
