[TOMT] [Movie] weren’t there two Battle of Los Angeles Movies?

I thought I remembered there being two movies for Battle of Los Angeles, one was made in 2011 and I swear there was an older, cheesier version made too. I vaguely remember seeing a Military General figure in a brown leather coat with an American style wwII helmet?

I don’t subscribe to the Mandela Effect, so what movie am I confusing this for? It was a cheesy military vs alien invasion movie.
