I WFH so I just roll out of bed in my sweats.
1 hour ish?
I like to sleep as long as I can so I’m up at 6:45, ready by 7:15, eat breakfast, then leave by 7:30 to be at work by 8. I do all of my prep the evening before so I don’t have to make any decisions in the morning. No deciding on what to wear, how to wear my hair, or what’s for lunch.
Wake up, drink a glass of water, brush teeth, get dressed, fix hair (which takes about 30s), pack lunch, put on shoes and leave. Takes about 20 to 30 minutes. I’d like to take longer but I’m unwilling to get up any earlier than I already do.
Wake up at 5:30 am, feed dog, walk dog. Shower at 6:30 am. Sit and drink tea 6:50-7:15. Drive to work 7:20am.
I wake up at 5:45am, have some coffee, work out, have more coffee, wash my face/moisturize, comb my hair, sometimes I’ll throw on a decent shirt and put on a little makeup if I have meetings that day, then walk up 7 stairs to my office. So I guess 2.25 hours from the time I get up til the time I sit in my chair (I work from home), but only maybe 5-10 minutes of “getting ready for work”.
I would say about ~15 minutes. I wake up, brush my teeth, straighten my hair, put on my clothes, grab my lunch and I’m out the door.
I’m up by 7:50 and out the door by 8:10-8:15 to be at work for 8:30 (12-minute drive).
I usually need around 1.25 – 1.5 hours for early shifts.
Taking a dump, a shower, getting dressed, feeding the cats, reading the news and so on.
For late or night shifts, I have a good amount of my free time before work, so the timing is completely different.
If I didn’t have executive dysfunction and exhaustion 45 minutes. As it stands right now an hour and a half.
Wake up at 5am-leave house by 6:30am. First I let the dogs out, then clean the cat litter boxes, and then feed all the animals lol I usually eat last if I have time to eat at all.
Wake up 5.40. Use the bathroom, wash face briefly, put in contact lenses. Put on gym clothes and pick up bags (pre-packed and set out last night). Make up protein shake and grab lunch from the fridge (pre-made last night) and an ice pack. Put all in the car, leave home 6am. In the gym near my work for 6.30, work out until 7.30ish, shower, get dressed, get to work 8.15ish.
Ideally 30 minutes. But I can make it work in 5
About an hour; alarm goes off at 6.20, snooze for 10, get up, wake up kids, jump in the shower, wake up kids (again), get dressed, wake up kids (again), brush/straighten hair, brush teeth, chivvy along the kids. Leave at 7.30.
1-1.5 hours to process waking up. I’m a deep sleeper who gets overly anxious about oversleeping, so I always start my alarms like 1-1.5 hours before I actually have to leave lol. I have to ‘pre-wakeup’…
Then it’s 10 mins to actually get ready. Wash my face with water, piss, do a very quick brush, tie my hair, put lip balm and/or contacts, wear my clothes, drink water, grab my bag… And I’m out.
