Does anyone know of any good writing or commentary on the phenomenon in art where men depict other men in a realistic or diverse way and women as all similar or highly idealized?

I came across this on xitter

and I know I’ve seen people criticize Disney for this kind of thing as well, all princesses have a round face, huge eyes, and a tiny nose, whereas there’s much more realisim and diversity in the designs of male characters. When you look at animated shows with animal protaganists it’s no differnt. Males are depicted in a more realistic manner wherase females are depicted with stereotypical female traits that wouldn’t even make sense on an animal, like lipstick or long eyelashes.

And the thing is, I know I’ve noticed this sort of thing on older paintings and portraiture too, men being painted in a more realistic manner and women being painted in a really similar manner as if they all came off of some premade mold.

So my question is really does anyone know if this phenomenon has a name or of any books, articles, videos etc that have covered this sort of topic more in depth? I’ve tried looking but without knowing what to call it I’ve not found any results.
