TIFU by choking on my spit after a dress rehearsal.

This is my first year of highschool (I’m 15 years old, and this took place during first semester of freshman year.)
I’ve been involved in my school districts theater productions since seventh grade, and I have been more than excited to join high school since overall it was way better than whatever middle school was. Ive always had pretty bad social anxiety and stage freight, despite being involved in theater, choir for a bit, and orchestra.. all things that require being up on stage.

After a few months of working, we finally made it to our first dress rehearsal. Things went well throughout the entire thing with only a few minor mistakes (as most shows do), and the night ended with the cast and some of the crew up on stage, with our directors and the few people in crew who did lights sitting in some of the chairs closest to the stage.

I can’t remember exactly what happened, but because of my menstrual cycle and from things I ate (spicy food and dairy, most likely), I had pretty bad bubble guts.
At the end of the show when our main director was giving us one of those “post-show pep-talks” and going over things that needed to be finished and worked on for our upcoming show. I could feel my stomach starting to hurt, but I managed to keep myself silent and in control as our director talked.

Then, I started choking on my spit. I started coughing, and tried to just walk off the main stage, going behind the curtains to avoid interrupting her speech. But I only made it a few steps before I coughed and let out a very loud fart.
I felt my heart drop and looked around, trying to act confused as everybody looked at me.
I took a few seconds before returning to my friends, probably bright red by then, and proceeded to lie again and tell my friend that it wasn’t me, it was one of the other kids back in that corner I walked to, and we all moved on.

Nobody really brought it up after, but there was one upperclassmen that would tease me whenever he saw me by making a fart noise with his mouth.

TL;DR: TIFU by choking on my spit during a post-rehearsal speech, and ripping ass in front of everyone.
