10-12 sounds about right.
Legitimately no idea. Whenever it feels like I need more I just buy a pack, never thought of the exact number.
15 but usually 7 are used before laundry anyway
Like 8? That’s one more than I need to make it through the week to next laundry day.

20 or so. I tend to pitch a pair or two a month when they start to look shot, and buy a replacement pack every 6 months or so.

When I finally found a pair I liked I ordered a few at a time over a few months. I have two weeks in rotation. But I have a plastic tote filled with unopened spares to last me for years.

8 days worth of normal cotton and 8 days worth of that breathable spandex like material for hot weather.
i recently got two 10 packs and threw all the old ones out. i was still finding clean new underwear for a while because i had so many i was puting the washed ones back in the drawer right on top of the new ones

18, but I always end up grabbing the “top ones” on the pile, which gets refilled every week with clean laundry… So 7, with 11 brand new pairs awaiting their call up to the big leagues.
I got 8 in rotation with another 5 of emergency oh no do laundry.

6 in main rotation. About 8 in backup rotation and then like 4 or 5 in backup backup rotation (holes in them, but they still get the job done)
Around 14 -18. Just bought four more the other day because I noticed a couple need to be retired.
I also have a plastic bin with socks and underwear that are at the edge. I don’t want to use them as daily drivers but they aren’t fallen by apart. So if I’m going to dig a ditch or something that gets me super dirty I’ll wear them.
9 pair. Used to be none. Yup, I was a commando. It’s freeing for a while, until the boys start to sag a bit more and fight to stay alive
Yeah I’d probably own about that. Do laundry a couple of times a weeks so most of the time I have loads of clean ones ready to roll.
All of them. I have an extravagant collection because dirty underwear is not good and I hate laundry.

More, about 7 in a work go bag for out of town trips. About 14 at home so I can restock the out of town bag without waiting for the washing machine and still have a weeks supply at home

A lot Too many really. I have short and long versions. I have one type for fall and winter and one type for Spring and summer. Than I have some that don’t fit any longer that I don’t want to toss because they Cost $25 to $30 a pair.

I have a Chester drawer full. But I probably only wear half. Because when I wash i just put the clean ones on top.

Like 20 and I place them in the drawer to make sure they all get the same amount of use like a store. Freshly washed at the back and take from the front. Push the backs ones up as the front ones get used.
Probably 12 total but 6 I prefer and prioritize. Luckily we do laundry quick enough that I almost never run out of my favorites. But I should also just buy another pack

None in rotation. Have 2 weeks worth of underwear to accommodate wearing two pairs a day. If I’m rotating underwear, I’m being lazy and not doing laundry.

At least a dozen, maybe more. I just grab whatever pair is the closest to the top of my clean laundry basket, so I’m not really sure how many or how often I wear them.
I wear boxer briefs/trunks. Last count I’ve got 57 pairs. I’m going to cull some soon tho…
Sixteen, I think. I put them on the bottom of the pile each time I do laundry so I wear all of them.
Probably about 20. 10 are those boxer briefs with the ball pocket. They’re so comfortable. The rest are a mix of boxers and older boxer briefs that I keep around just in case I don’t get laundry done in time.
I’d say i have about 30. When I find ones I like, I buy 10. I have three styles. Same with socks. I might have hundreds of pairs. Dress socks. Cotton two styles. Winter 4 types.

I have 12 I think. Half are in regular rotation and the other half are a kind I don’t like. They only exist if my laundry equipment somehow goes out. Same with undershirts. I just checked and I have 6 pair of socks I regularly rotate through, 4 pair I don’t mind rotating through, and another 6 that never get used. Basically I have my first string and my shit hit the fan so let’s pull out the fourth string

10 weekday pair, and 10 weekend pair.
Weekend pair is older underwear that didn’t meet my balls-sticking-to-legs prevention requirements for work but were deemed worthy of comfortableness when I am spread eagle on the couch.
10-14, with another 6-10 backup pair
Same amount for me, about a 14 or so in my drawers. But I also have one or two brand new 6-packs stored away. When I was a kid I often ran out of clean socks and underwear so now my luxury is to have a drawer full of clean socks and underwear all the time.
I have around 15 pairs but probably wear 10 of them consistently. The other 5 are for when I get caught in a weird laundry cycle or have to take extra showers for whatever reason.

I used to have like a dozen or so. My male underwear was hard to find though (string bikini briefs) so when I found it I would get 2-3 packs and throw the old ones out.
