I recently spent $150 and did the Juno Bio vaginal microbiome testing, because I have been dealing with chronic yeast infections (even before becoming sexually active as a teenager), and doctors have been no help. The only solutions presented to me were to take fluconazole or use monistat, and those options just aren’t working anymore. My Juno Bio results shared that my “vaginal microbiome is dominated by one microbe: Lactobacillus iners” (40%), Ureaplasma (8%) & Ureaplasma parvum (6%), Staphylococcus (3.4%), Streptococcus (2%), Gardnerella vaginalis (2%) and there was a candida presence as well.
I am at a loss, I have cut back sugar and alcohol, (I eat a very healthy diet) I made the switch to cotton underwear and limit wearing thongs. Every time I have sex or wait too long before changing out of a wet bathing suit I get a flare up.
The internet suggests that I may have Aerobic Vaginitis? Idk please leave suggestions.
