My father died two days ago, he was a widower and had no other survivors outside of myself and my siblings. We have already gone through the process of notifying the proper people to cancel everything including retirements. He may have a minor amount of credit card debt.
He has a 30k IRA that names my brother as the beneficiary and a car worth about 2500. We want it all to go to my brother.
Do we have to go through probate?
