    Two comforters/blankets for a bed of two. For fucks sake, don’t let people to emotionally manipulate you into one cover for two. It does not mean you love your spouse/partner any less, it does not hinder cuddling or opportunities for sex. All it does, it makes two adults much more well rested, which means less stresses, less cranky, less annoyed. You are not conscious while you sleep and don’t control how you move and what you do. It’s HIGHLY unlikely you both just lay there, barely moving whole night, both sufficiently covered and comfortable. Good sleep it SO FUCKING IMPORTANT. Even if you’re only 5% less rested, why would you do that to yourself, why would you do that to the partner you love, as your mood affect them? That 5% each night, after decades can turn into real mental and health issues.

    Many people do not wash their clothes before they donate them to thrift stores. If you don’t have a girlfriend, you can buy a whole bunch of cheap, second-hand clothes and shoes that smell like human females.

    1. Set your account to auto draft a set amount of money per week into a separate investment account. Have THAT account take half of that money and buy an index fund like SPY or VOO and don’t ever touch that money.

    2. set all bills to autopay.

    You’re now better off financially than most Americans. You have an emergency fund, an investment account, and good credit for paying your bills ontime.

    If you are trying to lose weight replace snacks with raw carrots. Only 181 calories in a pound of baby carrots. Not only is it super filling but it is also fairly good for you.

    I never check bags on an airplane. If possible, I pack light enough that I can fit everything essential into my carry-on and then purchase whatever else I need when I get to my destination. If it’s not possible to pack that lightly then I FedEx my bags to my destination.

    I don’t now that it’s “little known” but it seems “rarely followed”:

    Sleep and exercise are the best things you can do for yourself. Set a bed time, set a wake up time, STICK TO IT. Exercise 45-60 minutes a few times a week – lift some weights, do some cardio. Move your body every day even if it’s just a 20 minute walk at lunch time.
