Actually, I normally just empty my pockets whole when I sit down. Phone out, wallet out, keys out, and multi tool out (cant go anywhere without it). I just dont like anything in pockets, but I keep my wallet in the back (some old bulky wallet from HS, that looks like an nes controller).
I’m not worried about being pick pocketed. Its never happened to me. Also with the size of the wallet, it would be easy to notice it sliding out. Like I feel it 24/7, but its kind of like how your eyes ignore your nose, ya know.
I used to, but I have an arc’teryx crossbody bag / fanny that I use as my daily driver. Keep my wallet, a phone charger / chapstick and any other small odds and ends in there. Much more comfortable, haven’t gone back since.
Idk where else it would go? I wear pants to work everyday and my phone is in front right and keys in front left and wallet in back right. And then I take it out to sit down, why would you sit on it?
I keep it in my front left pocket. I used to keep it in my back pocket until pretty randomly in college it caused my spine to be misaligned. It was a pretty thin wallet, and I was broke anyway, so it throwing my back out of wack was out of nowhere for me. I still have some hellish back pain every once in a while a decade later, but it’s in the front pocket from now on.
Slimline wallet, not uncomfortable to sit on, sat on it half the day today sat at my desk and didn’t notice.
Had two bungled attempts at being pickpocketed in 40 years and they were at crowded concerts. It’s just not that common an occurrence that I would plan around it.
Phone and keys in front two pockets and they have to be kept separate if you like your phone screen, and they are really uncomfortable to sit on. Nowhere else for it to go.
I stopped a few years ago. I switched to one of those carbon gimmicks with a money clip and a thing to hold your cards. Best money I’ve ever spent. Saved my back.
I’m too paranoid and constantly check my pockets. Imagine me patting my ass to check my wallet is there constantly. It stays in my front pocket with my keys
It fits best in the back pocket. Front pockets are for your phone on the left. Your car key on the right.
The wallet is usually soft and flat so you can sit on it. The same with a card clip compared to keys and or your phone which can be damaged in the back pocket.
Actually now that I think about it. It only makes sense to carry your wallet in your front right pocket if you DON’T OWN A CAR.
Phone in my front left pocket, keys and wallet in front right. Loose change and papers go into the back pockets for sorting later. And yes, there’s plenty of room in my pockets for this. One of the benefits of not wearing skinny jeans.
Front pocket wallet dude here. Been doing it for years. I have a very slim wallet. Holds a couple of credit cards, drivers license. It’s all I need. Plus someone tried to steal my wallet when I was in nyc. A lot harder to do in your front pocket.
I don’t think many people actually keep their wallets in their back pockets, that’s just a thing in cartoons. I keep my phone, keys and wallet in my front pockets, which is what I think everyone does.
It’s really not that uncomfortable. You get used to it. But if I’m at my work, and I’m sitting down for a few hours, I’ll take it out of my back pocket.
And when it comes to pickpockets, I live in Philly. High crime, but not much pick pocketing. If I’m gonna get robbed, it’ll be at gun point, and if that’s the case, which pocket it’s in, doesn’t matter.
I also find having my wallet in my back pocket is much more comfortable when walking around, opposed to my front pocket. I also don’t really wear jackets or bags, so I don’t have anywhere to put it.
Phone, headphones, other electronics in one of the front pockets. Keys, coins, or other items with metal (such as lighter) that can scratch my phone in the other front pocket. Wallet goes in the back pocket because it’s too bulky but moves up to one of my front pocket when needing to sit such as driving, class, etc.
I carry a bag. I picked up that habit when i was travelling a lot. Common practice for men to carry a messenger bag. Wallet, keys, passport, phone. If i can go the day without stabbing myself in the leg with a stray key…it’s a win. Hasn’t happened since i keep my keys in my bag. Mine is just big enough for everything i really need.
Because my front pockets have my phones on one side, and keys/knife/lighter. if I added my wallet to the front I wouldn’t be able to grab what I wanted without fishing around
I have a phone case that has slits that fit my credit cards and ID and some other cards in it. And it can fit a few dollars in it if I’m not going to pay with card for some reason. My phone goes in my front pocket. Hardly notice it there and I wear tighter fitting pants.

I have an ogön carbon card holder, when it’s in my back pocket I don’t notice it.
🎶 Tradition! 🎶
My front pockets have cell phone, keys, and .380.
Can’t fit.
A better question is: Why are we even still carrying wallets? I use Apple Pay for everything.
Where else am I going to put it?
That’s just… where it goes. Everyone knows that.
It would be just as uncomfortable and look ridiculous in the front lol.

i leave in front left pocket with key chain, everything except coins in right, coins in back left.
various cards in the wallet and cash for when the cards not work
I used to when I was young, then I asked myself the same question and now I carry it in my front pocket.
100% agreed! Also leads to silly wear marks on the butt pocket. Maybe they want their ass grabbed? Huh, now I’m considering doing it…
I’m so poor I don’t even carry a wallet anymore.
Back right, wallet, back left phone, front left keys, front right defensive item. Dont really have another free space.
I used to, but I have an arc’teryx crossbody bag / fanny that I use as my daily driver. Keep my wallet, a phone charger / chapstick and any other small odds and ends in there. Much more comfortable, haven’t gone back since.
I switched to the front pocket many years ago. Hard to grab it from there, easy from the back, also not good for your spine.
Idk where else it would go? I wear pants to work everyday and my phone is in front right and keys in front left and wallet in back right. And then I take it out to sit down, why would you sit on it?

I keep mine light so it’s not really a bother to sit on.
Pickpocketing isn’t really a thing in my city, nor have I heard of it being an issue anywhere in the US really.
I have a hole in my front left pocket. My phone goes in my front right pocket. Wallet in the back
I have a Grip 6 wallet I keep in my front left pocket. I love it, feel way better on my back and ass
Slimline wallet, not uncomfortable to sit on, sat on it half the day today sat at my desk and didn’t notice.

I keep my phone and my keys in my front pockets which means wallet goes in the back
If you want back problems, sit on your bulky wallet
Don’t put your wallet in your back pocket and then sit on it. Messes with your spine and hips.
I stopped a few years ago. I switched to one of those carbon gimmicks with a money clip and a thing to hold your cards. Best money I’ve ever spent. Saved my back.

I COMPLETELY AGREE.👍
I don’t know why either, I always saw it as something the “Old guys” like my 70 yr old step father does. I also have tri-fold wallets.
Phone in my front left pocket, keys and wallet in front right. Loose change and papers go into the back pockets for sorting later. And yes, there’s plenty of room in my pockets for this. One of the benefits of not wearing skinny jeans.

Mine isn’t uncomfortable in the back pocket and I have other stuff I need in the front. What kinda huge wallets are y’all carrying?
Big bulky wallets don’t fit in your front pocket and would look ridiculous if they did.
Fortunately now they have smaller wallets so you don’t have to.
People don’t still, do they? That would be silly. But I don’t keep track of what other people do with their money, that would be a bit sketchy.
I don’t think many people actually keep their wallets in their back pockets, that’s just a thing in cartoons. I keep my phone, keys and wallet in my front pockets, which is what I think everyone does.
Some places only accept cash. And u can keep cards and stuff in a wallet

Why are you checking out my ass?
I switched to a card holder and always carry it in my front pocket. When I had a thicker wallet, went in the back pocket.

I have three essential items:
The only one that can go in the back without hurting me or breaking is the wallet.
Phone + keys in the same pocket is a big no.
Phone + wallet keep things very tight and hard to remove one without dropping the other.
Wallet + keys will also ruin the wallet pretty quick.
I used to, but I stuff so much in my wallet it offset my hips and created back problems. Now I don’t carry a wallet typically.
