having boobs is so annoying

r/

ive always hated them, everyone who doesnt have big ones would tell me how lucky i am, meanwhile they were the worst thing ever when i was young

when i grew up and lost a bunch of weight they were smaller but hated them for a new reason (extra skin) but i could at least wear an off the shelf sports bra to make them mostly disappear

when i turned 25 i started getting a pain in one of them that was so bad it turned me off of intimacy, but my doctor referred me for an ultrasound

y’all. just got back from the appointment. she really said it looks normal. dense if anything. it flares up so bad during ovulation that i cant wear bras or do much physical activity. AND YOU SAY IT LOOKS NORMAL??? I GET A FOLLOW UP IN SIX MONTHS?????

CHAT. IS IT NORMAL FOR MY TIT TO JUST BE IN PAIN AND THATS LIFE NOW??? ARE YOU KIDDING???!??!!!?

Sadly it can be normal, yes. I too have dense breast tissue and it can get uncomfortable during my cycle. But it doesn’t bother me too much I guess. Though I have to say I haven’t been blessed with badong-a-dongs so maybe it’s extra uncomfortable the more breast tissue there is.

I agree with the original sentiment, its why I got a reduction.

Pain in boobs is not normal at all. Get a second opinion. Go back to that Dr, slap them in the face and when it turns red and hurts, tell them, it looks normal.

I was ‘blessed’ with the bosoms. Not a blessing. I don’t know how dense mine are but they hurt enough around my cycle that my husband and I know when I am due to bleed even when I was only getting 2-3 periods per year.

Truth be told, I got a reduction due to pain (thank the gods for military benefits) and it has not been nearly so bad since.

Added bonus, my clothes and military gear fit better now.

It’s not always easy to get a second opinion. If you can, absolutely do. If you can’t, bring it up at every appointment. Have it documented. Genetically female pain is often put aside as ‘this is life.’

Being on the contraceptive pill made my boobs hurt so much all the damn time, so much that I’d feel sick just thinking about touching them. They’ve always been small, so I knew it wasn’t a size thing, and as soon as I stopped taking the pill, the pain stopped. If you’re on anything hormonal like that, it might be worth stopping it if you can.
