Question: Plaintiff sent the evidence I mailed to her back to me

r/

Location: CT

This is a small claims case between neighbors in a Complex building.

I mailed my evidence to the plaintiff on 6/19 and it delivered on 6/21, these are recorded on the time stamp of USPS, I saw my mailed package was in front of the plaintiff’s door.

But yesterday I saw the mail I sent to the plaintiff was in front of my door.

I was wondering What I should to this?

Edit:

I would resent my evidence to the Plaintiff through USPS Express Certified Mail on Saturday when USPS is opened.

Should I also handed my evidence to the Plaintiff?

Re-send it certified mail. If all you have is tracking information to an apartment building address, even with her unit number on it, you really don’t have good proof of delivery.

What “evidence” did you mail. I don’t think small claims requires discovery. You tried to show her your evidence, I’d still just bring it up in court.
