I got caught driving without insurance. I had a court hearing 2 days ago and the judge suspended my license for 14 days and gave me 5 days of community service and a $500 fine. I paid the fine, but I am a little confused on how the whole process works. Do I get a letter in the mail from the DMV stating from what date is my license suspended? Also do I get a letter for the community service as well?
I am also a recent university graduate looking for employment. I asked the judge if this will affect my employment search or record in any way, and she said that it would not since this is not a criminal offense and just a matter related to traffic violations. I still feel un easy about the whole situation and don’t want it to ruin my record. Have y’all run into a similar problem and did it affect your record?

I dislike u for driving without insurance
It would be on the paperwork from the court, but generally your license is suspended immediately, so it’s currently suspended right now.
