I think my adoption was illegal, can I do anything?

Location: adopted from Russia to Pennsylvania, US

I’m an adult now but discovered some things about my adoption that are kinda sketchy.

  1. The cost requirement was $25,000, all in cash, which was put in a duffel bag and handed off to a couple people who drove it away to an unknown location.

  2. My medical documents were falsified and I know this because my adopter was informed of it. They added disabilities on my hospital records that I didn’t actually have, but were added to coerce Russians into not wanting to adopt me so I’d be sold overseas at a higher price. They tell the Russians I’m disabled through falsified medical paperwork, then inform international adopters that it’s fake and not to worry.

  3. Idk if this is illegal but my adopter lied during the adoption interview. She claimed to never have had mental illness or drug addiction, despite heroin ruining her 20s and being diagnosed with major depressive disorder, an eating disorder, PTSD, and a personality disorder. She also said out loud (which was typed in the interview paperwork) “I would never use physical punishment” and “I will accept if the child is disabled and help them”. Meanwhile, she beat me starting when I was a toddler, emotionally abused me, and sexually assaulted me a few times throughout my childhood.

I feel like I deserve financial compensation for therapy at least, the severity of my C-PTSD is so high. That woman ruined my life and I was sold to her so easily.

    1. Who are you trying to sue?
    2. How did you find out all this information?
    3. Some of the events you’ve described are inferred, and not things you actually have evidence of. What proof do you have?
