my [27f] boyfriend [27m] blocked me out of nowhere

r/

we’ve been dating a year and it’s been long distance which has had its challenges but we saw each other a few weeks ago. our relationship was amazing when we weren’t long distance but pretty great overall until a couple of months ago when he started ghosting me anytime i brought up my feelings. last time i brought up my feelings he ended up blocking me but unblocking same day expressing massive amounts of regret and apologizing, but today he blocked me again but completely out of the blue? like nothing happened… im extremely confused. this is a guy who went above and beyond in our relationship but since moving and having a new job he’s been stressed and sad but i don’t think that really excuses being an asshole. does anyone really get what’s going on? on top of that im studying for the bar exam so doing these kinds of things has just added to my stress.

i’m definitely not perfect or without fault but he’s always told me i’m such a sweetheart so i dont really think im the problem here.

TL;DR bf blocked me out of nowhere and im confused

as a 27F… we’re way too old for that. unless something egregious happened blocking and unblocking because of “tough conversations “ is ridiculous. my assumption is that he’s taking the cowards way out and hoping you will be the one to break it off. i was in a slightly similar position once and after the second time i saw him evading emotional discussion i realized it wasn’t serious or rather i was not being taken seriously. regardless of the outcome if someone is unwilling to even hear you out, it means they don’t have much care or respect for you as a person.

you guys are long distance like seeing each other in person biweekly or seeing each other quarterly?
