In early June, my son got a traffic ticket for rolling through a red light on a right turn. We looked up his citation number on the county website.
However, the website shows a completely different date of the ticket and name. The option is pay the ticket is greyed out since that person’s balance went to collections. He tried searching by his name and license number but nothing shows up.
Would this be grounds for the ticket to be dismissed?
My son is going to call on Monday and schedule his appearance. What should we do to make sure we are paying for our ticket and not someone else’s if there is some sort of processing error.
