None, my husband is my best friend
Two really close ones, but I’m married to one (who’s a man) and the other is also a guy. Next closest friend is nonbinary (and AFAB). Everyone else after that is kind of just a casual friend, and I don’t have a very large social circle at all. I’ve never felt a sense of sisterhood with anyone in my life, tbh. Mayyyybe my best friend when we were about 10-14, but I didn’t think of it in a gendered sisterhood/girlhood way.
I’m 34, and I pretty much just have my mom. But she’s amazing, and I love her so much. ❤️
None. I have my husband and sister. That is it. I used to have friends, but I got tired of the roller coaster of having a friend. ( You are minding your own business and a person you meet wants to hang out. Then they want to hang out all the time. Then they want to hang out less and less. Then they want nothing to do with you.)
None. No partner or family either, other than my kids. It’s hella lonely.

Three very close friends that I see all the time, travel with, etc. Four others that I’ll do girls nights with, and talk to regularly, but wouldn’t want to go on a trip together. Then I’ve got 4-5 yoga friends that I’ll hang out with for a smoothie or something after class, but we don’t make plans if we aren’t already going to see each other.

I had two, one very long-term, but she has decided to cut herself off from me after we both retired. The other one I’m still friends with, but we don’t get together often because she comes part and parcel with her husband who I don’t particularly care for (we live a few hours apart and she has narcolepsy and can’t driveherself.)
40F. I have 2 close friends. One of them lives out of state, but I probably talk to her 3x a week. The other one I see 2x a month for lunch dates and the occasional concert date
Are we counting my husband? If not, I feel like I’m down to only 1

I’m 24 and I have 3 close friends
None anymore. My best friend would cancel on me all the time. I felt it was better to let that friendship go. Id look forward to seeing her and then for that to happen it got me down
2, My husband and my best friend since school.
I’m 32, with two close friends. They both live in different states. We text a lot most days during the week. We plan FaceTimes and phone calls every so often. I see one of them 1-2xs / year and the other every couple of years. Hoping to change that soon!

I’m in my Early 30s, and I think I have about 10 close friends, half of which are female… most are relationships of close to 20 years.
My husband and adult daughter are my best friends. I also have 3 girlfriends I’m fairly close to as well. No other family.
I have one I regularly Whatsapp chat with that I have been friends with forever.
Being childfree and single, people who have families or in relationships tend to disassociate with you eventually. I have learnt to accept this.

I’m 56. I am surrounded by our amazing friends and family. I am so fortunate. I can say I have 4-6 fairly close girlfriends, several close male friends and my amazing husband, daughter and SIL. My own SIL is one of my closest friends.
