So tonight I (29f) couldn’t sleep and I had been scrolling on tiktok on my phone while my bf was laying next to me watching YouTube on his phone. I put mine down a handful of times and closed my eyes to try to sleep but I just couldn’t, so I just started watching whatever my bf was watching while he scrolled on his youtube. When he noticed he got really weird and was just staring at me, I asked if he was okay and if there was a problem to which he turned it back on me and said “is there a problem?” And then turned over to watch youtube on his phone with his back toward me, he ended up telling me that its weird for me to watch him/what he’s doing and when I told him i was just watching the videos bc I couldnt sleep he said he doesnt believe that I was watching the videos, he thinks I’m just trying to invade his privacy and keep tabs on him essentially. I think he’s being weird, and he thinks I’m being weird.
Tl;dr I was watching him scroll when I couldnt sleep, as he was on his back with the phone directed toward my line of sight, we were laying side by side, and he called me weird and said I was invading his privacy and trying to keep tabs on what he does.
