I 28m have been seeing this girl 24f since past 1.5 years. We’ve met just once and since then it’s been 1.5 years to that meet. We have been in touch online only since then.
Now, she comes from an extremely conservative family where her parents don’t allow her to step out of the house unaccompanied. Hence I couldn’t meet her when we were in the same country. Now I’m not even in the same country anymore but we’re still in touch.
All she can do is text over the phone intermittently. We don’t talk over the phone as her family is around. She’s not ok with sexting or anything intimate like sharing nudes. For that matter, she says she doesn’t even know how to sext. It’s always been a one way street where I tend to be expressive while she tends to even change the topic of discussion if anything of that sort is being discussed.
This has become frustrating lately. It’s evident that we won’t be able to meet again even once for a long time and it’s perpetually undertain. Also, she’s cold towards any intimacy. I feel at times that what am I even doing considering these are the prime years of my life and yet I’m sexually frustrated. It’s a challenge to even talk to her over the phone which usually happens 1-2 times a month .
I do like this girl, yet I don’t know what to do. Any opinions?
Tl;dr: in a LDR with a girl who’s not expressive and sexually incompatible. It’s uncertain that when we will meet. Is there a reason for me to stay in this?
