I need to increase my situps from 25-30 to 35-40 for a fitness exam that is coming up in two weeks. The requirement is 35 situps in a minute.
I can complete the 300m, 26 pushups and the 1.5 mile run with ease. This is the only area I am struggling in. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

How many sit ups are you doing a day?
Sit-up pyramid. Do 1 then 2..3..4 xxxx all the way to 10. Then 10 back down to 1
Two weeks is tough to increase sit-ups by that many reps, my recommendation is to do decline sit-ups with a weight, then do sets of regular sit-ups following that
Do 40 sit ups no matter how long it takes you 2-3 times a day
Make sure you are not easing yourself down to the mat. Drop to the mat without resistance. Save your energy for the rep.
I did a pacing drill from stew smith program. I do 20 sit ups and aim to get it done in 30 seconds which puts me on pace for 40 in 2 mins , I did that 4 times a day for a few weeks and now the sit up test is a little bit easier for me. Good luck
If you had more time, I would suggest varying core exercises like planks, wall sits, leg raises, etc. But since you have little time, I would suggest sets instead of doing them all at once. So 3 sets of 12 or similar regiment to give yourself time in between for recovery.
Improving that much in two weeks will be a challenge. In general though, do other core exercises with situps (leg raises, flutter kicks, decline situps, etc.)
