aunt who is the trustee of my fathers trust will not allow me money for my housing and education

posting this for a friend. location: near poughkeepsie ny
my friends, will call her Alyssa (19F), father passed away 9 years ago. he left everything including cars real estate properties and money to Alyssa. Alyssa was living with her aunt, Tess(51F), as her legal guardian until 18. at 18 Alyssa moved out of the house. Sense the point Tess has not been allowing Alyssa to contact her regularly after blocking multiple times, would call her names and forbid her from going on her property . the issue now is that Alyssa is in college and Tess is supposed to be the Trustee of her fathers estate. hee fathers estate clearly says that she is allowed funds for HEMs.
Alyssa is currently subleasing an apartment near her school that is cheaper than dorming at her school. Alyssa was offered a longer lease into the school semester but Tess said she thinks Alyssa should live on campus and will not allow Alyssa to live in this apartment. It is Alyssa’s money and she would rather save it and pick a cheeper option.
is there anything that could be done about this?
