Few years ago when i lived with my family my dad used to turn off cigarettes on my arm which caused some blisters, and even after I moved out I started doing the same thing to myself because I thought I deserved it or some shit but that’s behind me now and I’ve grown out of that space
But the scars are still there even after years and nothing seems to make them go away, is it hopeless? Is there any way to make them go away?

Your scars aren’t forever. Fight back with silicone gel and sunscreen. Healing is a battle you can win.
They’re scars, they aren’t going away unfortunately.
Time will help scars lighten. There are also things like palmers cocoa butter that have a scar formula to help.
I’m really proud of you for getting out of that space that takes real strength. Scars like that can fade but might never fully disappear on their own. A dermatologist might help with treatments like creams, laser therapy, or microneedling to soften them. It’s not hopeless and neither are you. You deserve to heal, inside and out.
