Hi Reddit!
I’ve been rescuing animals all by myself since 2013. No organization, no team, just me doing what I can to help stray and injured animals in my area. Over the years, I’ve lost count after 100+ rescues (mostly cats and dogs, but also birds and other wildlife). Right now I’m caring for 7 permanent rescue cats and 3 dogs (one blind, one with puppies), each with their own unique story
I want to be clear that I do this entirely independently. I’ve only accepted donations in the most severe cases, like stabbings, hit-by-car victims or where emergency surgery was needed. Most of the time, it’s just me using my own limited resources to feed, trap, and get these animals the help they need.
Ask me anything!
