The quotations around homeless is because i live in a homeless shelter in a program where i live independently and pay a low rent.
Otherwise, ive spent my entire adult life homeless, kicked out on my 18th birthday with no warning, im now 23, still in the system.

was your home life bad before getting kicked out? do you still have any contact with family that kicked you out? do you feel resentful?
Did you ever consider trade programs like Job Corps? Homelessness actually expedites the application process. I know they currently have applications on pause… just wanted to know if it was ever considered

I was in a similar program I think! Aged out a couple of years ago at 24. Is it a transitional housing program? What are your neighbors like, is it a program for transition age youth or all ages?
