I was recently told my position may be removed as an administrator at a school. I work directly with the admissions, student service, contracts, and accounting departments.
I am told they want me to be an educator—which I was 5 years ago. I feel like I am only being offered this position to avoid paying me unemployment. From what I have found it says you may be denied if offered a comparable position, but what constitutes that?
I don’t feel like these positions are similar or comparable in any way.
I also left the education department because of how severely it impacted my mental health—even had to go on a 6 week medical leave due to it.
Any advice would be great.
