DAE actually kinda like being unoriginal?

To be very blunt and to the point: I like when someone else has come up with the same idea as me because it’s validating. At least one other person, maybe even several, thinks it’s a good idea. And of course I also like being unique and original, pretty sure just about everyone does. The key is balance. Anyone else feel similarly?
