This is complicated. My mom committed suicide when I was 9. Right before she passed she changed her will to all of her estate going to only one of my brothers. I have two half brothers, one full sister. Everything went into my brother’s name when he was 15. My mom had a good amount of money and a successful business that’s still running today. My father was the executor of her estate before she changed it to one of her lawyer friends. That was when she also changed that everything would go to only one of her children.
Fast forward:
This woman (one of my mom’s lawyer friends) was the executor of her estate. My brother sold my mother’s business to her when he was 15. At 15, he was not granted access to all the money right away, this woman was in charge of it. He got a little money when he turned 18, but at 25 he was supposed to get the rest.
That was when this woman told him that it was all gone. She had invested the money into her husband’s company that went bankrupt, and everything my mom ever worked for was gone. She told him to not contact her ever again.
A few years after that my brother stopped contacting us and doesn’t reply to anything sent to him. So I don’t much clarification from him.
But this feels fishy, does it not? That right before my mom took her own life, her estate got moved into this ladies name who then ended up robbing even the one child that was expecting to receive it?
I really don’t even care about the money, it’s the fact that this woman took everything my mom worked for her entire life and completely wasted it. It just doesn’t sit right with me.

It is pure speculation if the lawyer friend took the money, that would require proof and you would need a lawyer to subpoena records and the like through a civil action.
If a minor is the beneficiary of an inheritance a Trust is created for the minor with someone named as the Trustee who is supposed to control the money until the beneficiary reaches a certain age, in this case 25.
Sometimes the Trustee mismanages the Trust and loses the money, it does not necessarily mean that it was stolen just mismanaged.
