My best friend her F25 (we’ll call her Emma) and I have been friends since middle school. We are now (25). I recently became married to my long term boyfriend M(26) of 8 years. Now I will say for the whole duration of our friendship her relationships haven’t been successful or worked out. Fast forward to tonight, her & a guy she’s friends with (intimate but no relationship) M25 + me and my husband went on a double date to Dave and busters and this is what threw me off. We all pre gamed and had drinks then shots.. once we were at the table eating when my husband made any comment she would laugh really loud when me my husband and her guy friend were stone faced. Also, just tuning in to him 100% whenever he spoke. I spoke with my husband once we left from hanging and he said even as a guy from his perspective that she did too much. Is this a sign? Was this alcohol? Could she be trying to get the relationship she always wanted from me? Last thing I will add is that she’s a really sweet girl and is a light weight when it comes to alcohol but with other friends I never dealt with this.
