Location: Dallas Tx
For context I live in some apartments, and I have this neighbor that smokes weed religiously like everyday. this wouldn’t be a problem if the smell didn’t consume my entire apartment she has a child in the same apartment she smokes in. I myself have a 9 month old daughter and don’t want her around it.
FFW: today there was confrontation my father-in-law was in a bad mood and blew up on the neighbor and an argument ensued they immediately pulled the race card said they were going to call people to “take care of him” yelled “I’m going to go get my gun” went inside and came back out. The firearm wasn’t visible at this point but I wasn’t going to just sit there and watch him potentially get shot, so I called the police they showed up and did nothing. They weren’t interested in perusing the threats or the smell that was very obviously coming from their apartment, I fell like my only other option is trying to involve cps.

This is definitely something that should be addressed with the landlords first or the hoa . Dont involve CPS yet. I am a former foster youth and my life was destroyed in those places.
Don’t do anything until you move the heck out. People who pull guns shouldn’t be messed with, especially if they know where you live.
