So I recently am applying to become a police officer , I’m going through the background check process and a requirement is a college transcript, I have an unpaid bill for my college class I attended for a semester and they won’t give me my college transcript until I paid the 3 grand in full, if I can’t provide the transcripts will that mean termination in my police application?
Need some insight please!

I mean if you can’t provide the transcript then you don’t meet the requirement for the hiring process, in addition to that, you don’t want to be left with unpaid debt that could potentially ping on a credit report. So while it won’t terminate your application, you won’t advance any further in the hiring process.
