I’m 17, working my first job and everything seems kind of hollow to me. I don’t want to work 8 hours a day 5 days a week until I’m old. I think almost all romantic and platonic relationships eventually fall apart and they are temporary and pointless distractions from the emptiness of existence.
I don’t think there is a higher power. If hell was real my atheist mother, who I love, would go there and be tortured for eternity, and I just can’t believe in that.
I’m really not here to complain, I want to learn to be better but I can’t imagine a happy and meaningful life on this earth, so please tell me, what is yours like?
