For fruits, I typically have cereal in the morning with mixed berries and mangoes. And in the afternoon I’ll have some raisins. For vegetables, when I make pasta, I typically eat it with mushrooms and I’ve recently added zucchini as well. And I’m also trying to get in the habit of eating salads. I’m curious as to what other men’s fruit / vegetable intake looks like.
How many fruits/vegetables do you eat per week?

About 2/3 of what I eat is vegetables and some fruits. No idea how many that is.
I eat five serves of veges a day and two of fruit.
I eat a LOT of watermelon in the summer. Also, I really love a good salad–even for breakfast!
I eat an apple a day and probably a handful of grapes, sometimes more, during the summer. Winter I’m big on clementines, at least one a day but usually more. I probably eat a small bowl of salad on the side once every two days. There’s also veggies I cook with included in my meals (usually bell peppers and onions).
Vegetables with all meals and probably the biggest bulk of my food.
Daily salad with roast vegetables for lunch. Usually my evening meal is with salad. It’s definitely a few kilos a week.
I rarely eat fruit, maybe dried fruits with breakfast but if it was just me I wouldn’t buy any.
I eat fresh fruit most days for breakfast, and always add 1-2 vegetable options to lunch and dinner. That’s irrespective of whether it’s at home or out.
In fact, as I read this, I’m eating a fig I picked yesterday.
Usually around 1-2 per day
Buncha fruits and usually a veg at lunch and/or dinner
I’m a fruit fiend. I eat minimum 5 pieces of fruit a day, more now that melons are in season. Also.big into veg, at least 3 servings between salads and sides.
About 3 pcs of fruit a day, couple of 100s of grams vegetable for each dinner. And I’m only eating plant-based so the other meals usually also contain some fruits/vegetables apart from the grains and nuts and whatnot.
I’m the cook in the house so I’m always putting broccoli and asparagus in our dinners. Air fry, chop/dice, and then dump ‘em into whatever rice or pasta we’re having. Made some stuffed poblano peppers a few nights ago, that was nice too. Also keep a bowl of mandarins in the kitchen so I’ll have a 2-3 of those in a week.
Depends. Back when I had my garden and greenhouse it was a lot more. Now, depends on what’s in season and looks good at the store. I try do do dishes that have veggies mixed in so I can trick my niece and nephew into eating them too. Trying to do more salads and fruit as breakfast/lunch instead of junk snacking throughout the day.
At least 2 oranges and 2 bananas a day, veg is just what ever I am using when making food. But I do get more than the recommended amount
My usual weekly grocery haul is a 1lb carton of strawberries, a 3lb bag of oranges, a 3lb bag of grapes, and vegetables for whatever meals I’m cooking.
I don’t cook a lot of vegetable-forward meals but I always try to hide something in there, like mixing riced broccoli in with white rice, dumping a few handfuls of chopped spinach into a soup, or when in doubt, just some green beans on the side.
6 grapes and 2-3 strawberries per day
The bulk of my meals are centered around plants – that’s how you should do it. Most people eat way too much protein in general and way too much animal protein without question.
practically none it has been that way since I’ve been an adult and could make my own food choices. I know it’s not healthy for me but if I don’t like something I’m not eating it
Not sure. I eat a huge ass plate of veggies at lunch with whatever leftover meat I had the previous day. Some fruit with breakfast most mornings and enough peppers/onions/garlic with most dinners to repel a legion of vampires.
2-3 apples most days, and most of my dinners are pretty vegetable-heavy.
The gut needs the rainbow 🌈 of fruits and veggies… remember that from HS Biology, ROYGBIV….red/orange/yellow/green/blue/violet…..I go down to Whole Foods and gather the colors daily in a small 16 oz cup. It’s easier that way and inexpensive….My gut 😊
Oh god… Is potato a vegetable? How about French fries? If so 4. If not… 1?
I’m really into meat and carbs apparently
Can’t really count… but it’s A LOT.
In the morning I have the honeydew melon with my breakfast.
But at night with my dinner I always have a side veg (green beans or peas is my favorite) and I finish my dinner with a GIANT salad every night.
Plus random fruits here and there.
A banana every day. Usually other fruit with breakfast (e.g. berries on plain yogurt). Vegetable-heavy dinner of at least 3-4 servings of veggies. Sometimes fruit as a snack.
I’d say 50 servings per week.
The government in my country recommends 5 portions of different ones every day. I probably have about 15 portions a day of 7-10 different sorts.
Each week I eat 600 grams of blueberries, 800 grams of strawberries, 4 carrots, 4 bell peppers, 20 spring onions, 120g rocket
I have Oral Allergy Syndrome, so 0. I miss them terribly though.
An apple, mixed cranberries and sultanas and a chicken salad with mixed green veg is in my lunch 5 days a week.
At the weekend I don’t tend to eat any unless it’s part of my dinner lol
Banana in the morning, another as an afternoon snack and a carrot in the evening. An apple in between from time to time.
3 servings a day for each meal I eat.
None, which reminds me to go get something!
