For those with bad posture or who want to improve their posture, what have been your experiences with posture braces?

r/

As I’ve aged, my posture, which was never naturally great and only looked somewhat right when I consciously and with great mental effort tried to stand correctly, has worsened. I have a mostly sit down job and work at a computer by day and then spend my share of time at the computer at night.

I am not overweight and am in otherwise reasonably good shape, particularly for my age. I saw an advertisement for a posture correcting brace pop up in one of my feeds. I had considered getting one before, but I prefer not to have one that would be visible through my clothing or that is too bulky.

Have any other men here tried using posture correcting braces?
What have been your experiences?
Do you have any advice to do or not do?

I haven’t used one but I heard somewhere that posture braces might not be helpful. Bad posture due to a sentient lifestyle can be fixed through exercise I believe. Handful of videos on Youtube or some guides on google..

    Good luck

Posture braces are bullshit. Lift weights.

I work an office job and never have any back aches at all, my posture is excellent.
