Hi, I don’t really know what to do or how to write it . A few days ago I was coming home after hanging out with my friends, and I was raped , I’m still in shock from it, I’m in a lot of pain, I’ve been bleeding, I thought it would stop after a day, but it’s been three days now and it hasn’t stopped. The pain isn’t getting better , I tried looking up information online to understand what to do,but everything I found just made me more anxious. I’m only 16, and I’m afraid that if I go to a doctor, they’ll tell my parents. I don’t know who I can talk to or trust. I just know that something’s not right, and I really need help.
Please I don’t want to be judged, I know that going on Reddit is not a solution but I really don’t know what else to do . I don’t know if it matters but I’m from the USA

you absolutely need to contact an adult or the authorities. it will be nerve racking but absolutely nessecesary.
You really will have to see a doctor, you may have serious damage. They could’ve done a rape kit but it’s probably too late now. You can try requesting it to be private but since you’re a minor your parents will probably have to find out. Look for rape helplines in your area if there are any, they may be able to advise you better
Tell anyone u trust. Your parents, a cool aunt, any adult DO NOT TELL A TEENAGER bcz they wont know how to help u and will freak out. Write everything you remember from that night to take legal action against whoever was involved in the future. i know it will be hard but u need to tell ur parents first. and first things first ofcourse visit the hospital i will be praying for your well being and recovery my love
