So yesterday my brother switched the deadbolt to the apartment while I was out and about after living with him and his gf for 4+ months. My 2 ferrets and all of my belongings were now locked behind a door I could no longer access. I was forced to call the cops due to the lack of effort in communication from my brother and his gf and when the cops showed up his gfs family showed up including 2 individuals my brother and I work with…. Brother and/or gf tried to convince the officer that I had only lived there for 1-2 weeks and her family gave the officer a hard time about moving anything out of the apartment, but eventually the officer got them to give me my animals and most of my belongings back. But the very next day, without any reason i am immediately terminated from the job I worked at with my brother and the 2 family members of the gf that were at the apartment for the events of the day before getting fired. Is this wrongful termination or am I mistaken.
Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

This is not wrongful termination.
Wrongful termination has a specific legal definition and refers to being fired for some reason based on illegal discrimination such as sex or race or on certain union activities or certain forms of illegal retaliation.
This isn’t even close.
This is you being fired over your family drama in the workplace and that is not illegal.
Apply for UI while you look for a new ob and if it is denied appeal.
