I found out I’m pregnant just a few days ago while it surprised us and it wasn’t planned,it doesn’t mean that it’s unwanted and I’m so anxious and terrified to tell my mom because of her reaction,because when me and my fiance told her we are engaged,she was like “Isn’t it too early,are you sure about this?”
She can be quite judgmental about my life and my decisions,she just feels like she can still control me,no matter that I’m an adult and me and my fiance are independent and live together.
I just don’t know how to bring up the news to her and I even told my fiance to come with me and he was like “Are you sure it’s a good idea,when we told her that we are engaged she didn’t react very well. ” I just need advice how to react if she starts “attacking” with questions.

You don’t have to answer any of her questions, you are 27! You also don’t have to tell her right away. When you tell her, maybe have your fiance with you, and your dad with your mom. Both of you tell them together and don’t accept anything less than a positive reaction without getting up and physically leaving.
You are all growed up – it’s irrelevant what your mother thinks.
When she starts reacting poorly, get up and walk out. Maybe throw a “when you can treat me nicely I’ll be back” over your shoulder on the way out.
