Found a men’s undershirt wrapped with stained women’s shorts & shirt in my linen closet that aren’t mine

r/

Im a woman married to a man. I was getting a blanket out of my linen/comforter closet one day and found some dirty clothes. They were balled up together. A man’s tank top/undershirt & womens shorts with what appeared to be dried body fluid stains in the crotch area with a womens tank top. They were not my clothes. I asked my husband he said he doesn’t know how they got there. I only had two couples stay in my home before overnight and it was my parents and a cousin with his fiancé. My parents say it’s not theirs, cousin/fiancé says it’s not theirs. I’m really conflicted and don’t know what to do. I dont think my husband would disrespect me by bringing someone into our home in that way, but the clothes didn’t put themselves there either.

well one of three people is lying to you. tell all three parties you are going to scrape some of the crusty stuff off and have it tested through a genetics lab to find out who they belong to unless someone speaks up.

Ok, your cousin or parents are going to say, “Yeah, that was us.” You need more than this. If hubby was sliding on the side, he would handle his dirty laundry.

It sounds like a single, young, guest in your home had some good times that they felt they needed to hide from parents/family. Or a married/partnered guest who was playing away, and similarly had some clothes they needed to hide from a spouse/partner.

Source: I was a stupid teenager once. I also wouldn’t have considered the implications for anyone else finding the clothes later, only how easily I could deny it was me if it was found in a friend’s house rather than my own home.

further investigation is needed as you got way too many people in your house that was staying over.

Is the tank top a brand your husband wears?

    1. Your cousin and embarrassed to admit it. Or… 2. Maybe your husband likes to cross dress a little and is embarrassed to admit it.

Sorry… just trying to help. Good Luck.

Is it clear from the clothes that the stains were from a man and woman together, and not solely from a man? The balling up and tossing in a closet seems like something a guy might do, whereas most women would not.

    Women wear tank tops!

After reading all the responses, I think you are being quite imaginative here. It is beside the point whose shorts it is now, you have a very strange suspicion of your husband. I recommend you look into getting some therapy to understand where that distrust comes from and how you want to deal with it. The fact is you do not have any evidence of who are the owners of those clothes.

If he’s cheated before – in any way, well…

Plot twist, he called me by my cousins fiancés name before. When he woke up from his sleep one morning and we were lying down. I think he was dreaming about her.

Sounds like paranormal activity stuff since neither of you can explain it.

Wash them if you want to or don’t throw them out and forget about them! The answer won’t likely change the course of history. Just let it be and move on!

Is it possible that your husband is into cross-dressing?
