None of the names in this post are real obviously.
My friend, let’s call him Aiden (16m) and his girlfriend Mia (16f) got into trouble with the police because Emma (17f) sent a video to Mia, and a few others of Emma and Emma’s boyfriend having sex together. Now this is obviously not something that should be happening however, their personal life is none of our concern. The issue was with her sending the videos. Emma believed that this would be funny in some way, but now the videos are being spread and it is impacting her greatly. Looking out for her wellbeing (I have nothing to do with this story so don’t flame me for their decision), Mia asked Aiden to call Emma’s mom. Aiden call’s from his personal phone, and calls Emma’s mom saying something along the lines of “Your daughter is sending her nudes to a lot of people and it’s being spread around, so just a heads up, I believe you should monitor what your daughter is doing on the phone and on the internet a little bit more, because it could impact her social life and future greatly”. Emma’s mom took this as a sort of personal attack and replied with “Yeah who the hell are you to say these things about my daughter, i’m calling the police and I guess she tried to make him admit that he had the videos on his phone (which I think is illegal to have?) so that she could get him in trouble, but he doesn’t even have it so he told her the truth. She then hung up and later the police called him. He said that he has the right to remain silent and he did nothing wrong, he gave just his name and age and said he was just trying to look out for the mom (he didn’t say what he did) and they said they would call his parents so he hung up and then told me all about this.
If my friend can get into any trouble, can you please let me know and to what extent? He hasn’t admit or done anything bad on record technically so it would be very helpful, I don’t really care about what happens to Mia but let me know if Aiden can get into trouble or if he’s fine.
