Medical bill

Location: Florida, lake county.
I’ve received a bill for over $1300 from quest. Originally what happened was that my OB/GYN asked me to complete some labs and she suggested I use Natera and she mentioned Natera can also draw blood on behalf of Quest as well. I reached out to Natera to schedule an appointment and I clearly communicated with them that my insurance which was Medicaid at the time would end on April 30. I stated to Natera that after this date, I will not be having any insurance. Natera reached out to me stating they can backdate it and have insurance cover the bill. I agreed and scheduled an appointment. Now that I have received this bill from Quest I have reached out to Natera and they are passing me to reach out to Quest because this is a bill from them. I believe Natera should still be responsible for the bill because I had done my due diligence by explaining until what timeframe I have insurance and after that, I will not be having any insurance, but they proceeded to somehow make me responsible for a bill from Quest. I am over six months pregnant, with no insurance, low income, and I haven’t been able to receive a prenatal care due to everything that I explained. Every day, I am very stressed out about the situation that I’m in and as I’m trying to figure out how I can care for myself and my baby and plan my delivery, I receive this bill and this is even stressing me out more. I still believe in Natera should be responsible for the lack of communication on their behalf. If I had known, I would be responsible for a bill. I would’ve been either ready for it or have passed on completing those labs.
What should I do?

I haven’t heard anything back from Quest’s financial assistance department yet and I’m not eligible for Medicaid. Yes I’ve tried calling marketplace and with premium of $300 a month plus $100 copay I can not afford. So I’m still figuring that part of my life out.
