I am an international student who studies in California, and I’m feeling quite nervous about a mistake I made a few months ago. I ordered a fake international driver’s permit as a form of ID, but it was stopped at customs and never delivered to me. It had my real name and photograph on it, and now, after seven months without any updates, I’m worried about the potential consequences. I really don’t want to risk deportation, and I’m unsure what steps I should take next.
