I’ll try to keep things concise… I have a very close relationship with my best friend. We’re into the same fashion, the same TV shows, the same everything. She’s always been like the sister I’ve never had and I’m grateful every day we get to spend together.
We’re pretty intimate as far as friends go. We sleep in the same bed, share clothes, hug and say I love you. We have plans to get an apartment together in the fall. She once told me “you’ll never be alone until I’m dead. I love you forever” and well that about sums up how close we are. We drive an hour to see each other pretty much every week.
We call each other “besties” but lately I’ve been seeing things as more than that. I can’t stop thinking about how pretty she is, and how jealous I feel at the thought of her dating someone else (she’s been single as long as I’ve known her).
But I’m so scared I’ll mess things up. How can I tell if she feels the same? I’d rather die than ruin this friendship but I can’t help my feelings.
We’re both bisexual so I’m not worried that she wouldn’t be attracted to me in that regard.

I mean, im a guy but, it seems like she has some feelings with you. idk how friendships between girls work but it just seems to me that she has the same feelings as you. if i were in your shoes, id probably be honest with my feelings with her.
Honesty is key here… but so’s being sensitive to her feelings. You’ve got this deep emotional connection with your bestie, don’t be afraid to explore it, just do it thoughtfully.
