What Happens to Property Owned by a Minor in Case of Death?

r/

I’m not entirely sure where to ask this, so I apologize if this isn’t the right community.

I currently have a house in another country that’s under my name. I’m still underage, so I can’t legally sell it yet, though I’m getting close to the legal age. Lately, I’ve been having some heavy thoughts—not to make this a pity post—but it got me wondering: what would happen to the house if I were to die?

My parents and siblings are all foreigners and aren’t eligible to own or sell the property. I was born in that country, which is why the house is under my name, and I’m currently the sole legal owner. My parents had been planning to sell the house once I come of age, but this situation has made me question what the legal process would be in the event of my death.

This question would be better asked in a legal advice sub for that country…but a safe answer would be that if you died, the property would go to your next of kin

Not sure about mx laws but i’d bet they have something the equivalent of a trust. Transfer the house into the trust and whoever controls the trust, controls the sale of the house.
